A little cake can make a big difference.
DaCakeFund is more than a fundraiser. It’s a movement built around one simple idea: everyone deserves a reason to smile.
I started giving cakes away to strangers because I believe that something as simple as cake can create a moment of genuine happiness.
No occasion. No expectation. Just cake, kindness and a reminder that there is still good in the world.
Now, I want to take that idea further.
DaCakeFund exists to help fund the journey towards creating a bakery built around community, creativity and generosity — while continuing to give cakes to people who need a little joy.
Because joy should be shared.
You never really know what someone is carrying.
The person smiling beside you might be having the hardest week of their life.
The stranger you walk past might just need one small reminder that the world can still be kind.
Sometimes, people don't need advice. They just need a little joy. I've seen people struggle, feel alone, lose hope and keep going anyway.
And somewhere along the way, I realised that I might not be able to solve someone's problems…
but I can give them a cake.
